Day 3- Doing It All Over (glass cycle)
After I am cooled, I am placed with other pretty bottles and filled with some brown, sugary, bubbly liquid. A cap is placed on the top of each of us and it looks like it says "Coca Cola." I am now in the back of a truck again but this time, I am placed more delicately since I am now fragile.
A short while later, I am at a store by the beach again! I am placed inside the vendor machine with the other bottles and I have a perfect view through the window of the beach. I think I can get used to being a bottle.
I stare at the pretty waves when a young teenager comes into the store and buys me for $1. She pops off the lid and drains the substance inside of me within minutes! She carries me around a bit longer even though I am empty and I wonder what she will do with me.
The young girl finds a recycling bin and drops me in there with many other empty bottles that now surround me! I am a little scared this time because I do not know how long I will have to wait in this dark bin. Do I stay here forever? Will they fill me back up and put me back into the vendor? I guess I will have to wait and see.
It starts to get chilly inside the bin so I look through the hole in the lid from which I was dropped and I see that it is approaching nighttime. A worker pulls open the lid and peels away the plastic bag containing all of us. He puts us in the back of another dump truck and I am carted away once again. I wind up back at the "Glass Making Industry" and this time, I am not scared at all because I know what will happen to me. Even though I have to deal with these rowdy workers again, I know I will be out of here soon. I am broken up into little pieces, which hurts quite a bit, and then I am placed back into the furnace. The furnace feels nice now that I know that I will once again be a pretty bottle and be able to stare out at the waves from my place in the vending machine soon.

Day 2- Turned Into Something New (glass cycle)
Early in the morning, I am disturbed by a bunch of loud factory workers ready for a day of work. They are much more obnoxious than the little children I see at the beach. I am the first to be placed in some kind of container and now I am travelling down an assembly line. I see two containers labeled "sodium bicarbonate" and "calcium oxide" held above me. When I pass underneath them, they dump into the container with me. As if it wasn't already crowded enough! Usually, I am on a beach that is stretched out for miles and now I am sitting in a container with two more strangers.
I started getting a little hot so I look further down the assembly line and a huge furnace is blazing! There is nothing left to do to escape so I wait silently for my fate.
How am I still alive? I was just in a furnace at 2,500 degrees Fahrenheit for over a day and I am still alive! I am stronger than I thought. I am finally out of the furnace but I look different. I am now molten glass. Some obnoxious factory worker is poking me with a long tube and blowing the other end to put air inside of me! I am placed in some kind of soda bottle mold and the man keeps blowing bubbles on the other end until I fit this mold. Finally, the man leaves me alone in an oven that is not quite as hot as the first one. This oven is helping my out with my stress and fissures...I have to admit I do look prettier than before now that I am shiny and tough! I wonder what they will do with my new form next.

Day 1- Nice Day at the Beach (glass cycle)
It's the hottest day so far this summer but I don't mind, I love the heat. I am just lying here when a group of children play volleyball on top me! As I am being trampled all over, I think to myself that there is nothing else I'd rather be than a comfy stepping area for everyone at the beach.
It's dark out now so I try to get some sleep. It is nearly impossible with the beeping of someone's car that sounds so close! The beeping is getting closer and closer so I open my eyes to see a huge dump truck looming over me! I was just picked up in some huge shovel (way bigger than the ones the children use to mold me into a sandcastle) and I am placed in the back of the truck with other sand that I have never met before...they must be from some other beach.
As I sit in this dark, dank place, I listen for what is to come. I have a horrible feeling that I will never be able to lay on the beach again. Finally the truck has come to a stop and is turned off. I am finally dumped at a factory that is labeled, "Glass Making Industry." I try to relax until morning to find out what will happen to me next.
